MANAGEMENT
Thomas C. Tremblay
Mr. Tremblay is a Co-founder and Chairman of Swift River Capital, LLC. He is currently President and Chairman of Guardair Corporation, a leading manufacturer of pneumatic tools and accessories used for industrial cleaning. In 1994, he led a leveraged buyout of Union Engineering to form Guardair Corporation and since that time has strengthened the management team the company, improved profitability, and made three strategic acquisitions that have increased sales nearly ten-fold. Mr. Tremblay sits on two corporate boards and since 1996 has served on the Board of Advisors for Silpro Corporation. Prior to Guardair, Mr. Tremblay was a Vice President at the New England Capital Corporation, the venture capital arm of the Bank of New England. Previously, he held various positions at a market and strategy consulting firm, Technology Consulting Group, and Dravo Corporation, a major international engineering firm. Mr. Tremblay earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College and a combined MSME and MBA from Boston University.
Brooks C. Patterson
Mr. Patterson is the President of Swift River Capital, LLC. Prior to co-founding the company, he was the Executive Vice President of Business Development and COO at Flight Landata, a provider of high-resolution aerial imagery and data collection service to the U.S. government and its allies. At Flight Landata, he increased net sales nearly twelve-fold within two years and positioned the company for a pending sale to a large U.S. corporation. Prior to this experience, Mr. Patterson was a Principal with the management consulting firm PRTM where he provided advice and interim management services to manufacturing companies that resulted in rapid growth and increased profitability. He has held a variety of senior management positions in several highly successful businesses, where he was directly responsible for the scale-up of operations to facilitate explosive growth. Mr. Patterson earned a BA in Economics and History at Colby College and an MBA from Emory University.
